Margaret McGarrey, CPA

Peg brings decades of experience in individual, trust, and family-owned entity taxation to her work with multigenerational family clients. She takes time to understand each family’s values and goals, collaborates with their trusted advisors, and has a talent for simplifying complex tax matters so clients feel confident with their broader wealth planning decisions.

In her leadership role, Peg is actively involved in the day-to-day operations of the tax team, focusing on mentorship, workflow improvements, and maintaining the highest standards of technical excellence.

Peg joined the firm in 2021. Prior to such, she held roles at several public accounting firms and served in a leadership capacity within the family office group at Wilmington Trust Company.

She holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Finance from Drexel University, where she earned a four-year athletic scholarship to play women’s lacrosse, and is a Certified Public Accountant and member of the Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants (PICPA).

Outside of work, Peg enjoys golfing, biking, and hosting friends and family. A lifelong Philadelphia sports fan, she and her youngest son share a goal of visiting every NFL stadium together.
